Calculates Coordinates

With advanced sensor fusion algorithms, coordinates of every issue on your roof is recorded.

High Performance Thermal Imaging

With our Radiometric Thermal Camera we are able to detect and measure any issue on your roof with accurate temperate measurment. If there are any hidden concerns or damage we’ll find them.

These images are all from the same shot from the Matrice 300 RTK. When taking a shot it will incorporate a zoomed image set at a 0x-200x zoom setting, a wide angle shot, and a thermal image shot from the three different lenses on the H20T camera.

  • In the first wide angle shot you can see the top of the roof with what looks like no issues to the metal panel.
  • In the zoomed image you can clearly see that there is hail damage to the panel.
  • In the thermal images, when zoomed in, you can clearly see hail damage as well and severe issues with heat displacement from the damages.

Why Thermal Imaging?

Thermal imaging is called Thermography. Essentially we are measuring changes in temperature across the roof area using infrared imaging. This method is very effective in roof inspections and repairs because it reveals areas of heat loss we cannot normally see.

Roof inconsistencies are dangerous because it can result in pooling water, water damage and mold issues.

These types of issues are often difficult to identify because they hide underneath and require special equipment to see. With thermal imaging we are able to locate and identify any areas such as these on your roof without taking core samples or more invasive methods of finding problematic areas.

BENEFITS OF THERMAL IMAGING:

The sources of roof leaks aren’t always clear and usually require a closer look. Because water breaks through small spaces in the roof membrane, it can travel across the roof and end up causing damage in a completely different area. We can reduce the workload involved in finding the leak by using thermography and narrowing down the problem to as little as 10×10 ft area.
Usually, roof membranes keep water from penetrating the roof. However, the more they sustain punctures and damage, the more likely there will be issues in the future. Typically, roofing companies will take core samples to determine if there are any issues, but these are invasive and they take time. We can avoid not only problems with the issues that are already present, but additional issues from all the extra holes.
While thermal imaging is not always completely necessary, sometimes it’s the better choice based on ROI for the building owner. For example, in facilities where freezers are being used, it can be difficult to diagnose vapor issues traditionally and it could take several days to resolve. Thermal imaging can reduce that to mere minutes saving the building owner time and money.
Thermography gives you a clear and targeted answer to where the problems exist. We can locate with pinpoint accuracy where the issues are so they can be quickly addressed. The best part is that these issues can be detected without affecting the warranty. The building owner can know where the problem is and get a more accurate cost of repair, thus enabling them to make smart, strategic decisions with their budget.

Aviation-Grade Environmental Awareness

Our drone uses a high-end Primary Flight Display (PFD) that integrates flight, navigation, and obstacle information which equips the inspector with exceptional environmental awareness.
